Diablo client crash when joining a party for rifts Technical Support Hjelme83-2733 December 22, 2021, 11:02pm #1 Today i downloaded Diablo 3, for Season 25. Once it was up and running i joined a session for a boost, and almost instantly the game freeze up in a weird way.

AS THE ISSUES ONLY HAPPEN IN BLIZZARD GAMES. I have detailed the “Work Around” or Solution below. I hope this helps in permanently fixing this issue. Step 1: Download Heros of the Storm Step 2: Go to where its installed: “Example” D:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of the Storm\Support64 Step 3: Copy fmodex64_4_44_23.dll to a different directory

At least 50% of the time, when I select my character and load in, the game freezes as soon as I can see the game. There is still sound and music but everything just freezes. Alt+F4 doesn’t work, Alt+Tab doesn’t work, nothing. I can ctrl+alt+del and try to start task manager but it just flickers right back to the game.

I had this annoying crash as well. I checked the settings. The video was set to output 2560x1440x59. I don’t recall setting the refresh (but i hadn’t played since 20) initially, but when i set it to 2560x1440x119 the crashing stopped.
