If you have Nvidia go to the control panel –> Change resolution –> Customize –> Create custom resolution. Now in-game you will be able to choose resolution, that you’ve created . What resolution should i design my website for on mobile?

The resolution displayed in the in-game menu is the only resolution possible in Project Diablo 2. There is currently no way to manually adjust this resolution. ini” file within your Diablo 2 installation directory and open it in a text editor.

Since Diablo 2 is a sprite based game there is no way to increase the resolution, however, you can increase the drawing size of the screen (ie. be able to see more). I am aware of a couple mods to do this (I won’t link them here), but it is against the ToS and will get you banned on Battle Net.

for now the game is copying the resolution of your display. to play the game at lower res you have to first change your display res. i play the game on a 4k smart TV. i lowered the res to 2560 x1440 and cap my frame rate at 60, and now the game is running perfect. on high settings but on a lower res.

Although not documented, you may run Diablo 2 in a Window instead of full-screen. Simply add “-w” to your Diablo 2 shortcut. (ie: “C:\Diablo 2\Diablo II.exe” -w)

You can resize the window for windowed mode via the wrapper – not by using the command line -w. I use it myself and while it cannot improve the resolution it does make a nice difference. Give it a try, and see what you think. I absolutely recommend it.
