The game should run well on your machine too. People talk of GTA4 being cpu bound, but it’s not that cpu bound. Maybe something less than 2.4GHz, range may be a problem, but I first ran GTA4 on an Opteron 180 @2.4 GHz with an 8800 GT and my main issue (just from memory) was with the 512MB VRAM not allowing a high draw distance.
