Points-cap tickets are items in Mario Kart Tour used to increase the base-points cap of a specific driver, kart, or glider. They were introduced on May 13, 2020 with version 2.1.0, but were not attainable until June 3, when they were included in the rewards for ranked cups in Tier 25 and above starting in the Cooking Tour .
How to Use Points-Cap Tickets. Go to the Menu and select Tickets. Select any type of Point-Cap Ticket you will use. After selecting a Point-Cap Ticket, it will preview all the drivers, karts, or gliders that is available. Tap any drivers, karts, or gliders that you are willing to increase their points-cap.
Select the Driver, Kart, or Glider you want to level up. Select either the Points, or the Skill box to choose what stat to boost. Tap the Raise button to use a ticket.

If a glider has 250 points, upgrading it might increase it to have 260 points. Each glider and kart can reach a maxed out level. Using point boost tickets will help you reach the maximum rank more efficiently without wasting as much time. The tickets themselves do not raise the base points. They simply unlock the cap for you to gain more by racing or using points tickets. Normal D/K/G take 3, 10 and then 20 tickets to unlock the cap.
