After you have equipped all level 70 items on your character, check your Death’s Breath and Bloodshard count. If you have 25 or more Death’s Breath, you should go ahead and upgrade a yellow level 70 item to a random legendary via Kanai’s Cube. If not, you will have to farm them slowly instead.

The priority for a fresh 70: Complete your seasons journey. Kill all 4 uber bosses (you just got the keys from your seasons journey) and make a hellfire amulet. This is very good and one of the better ones if you get a decent passive on it, should last you a while. Just farm. Do GRs if you have keys or nephalem rifts if you dont.
Your first goal as a level 70 is to gear up to be able to clear Torment 1 difficulty rifts. This is due to the increased amount of legendary items …
Previously the fastest leveling strategy, it has lost some of its appeal with the Cursed Chests. With good execution, you can reach level 70 in little more than 1 hour. However, you will need to practice this first, as you will die oneshot to anything that hits you. Because of this, this strategy is strictly softcore-only.
Then make a yellow 2H weapon for level 70 at the blacksmith. You do this until a weapon has a% affix (% chance to freeze, stun, etc.) Now go to the mystic and roll over the other secondary bonus (not the one with the% affix). You want to get a level reduction that comes as close as possible to 30 levels.
This game really starts at 70… the leveling process is really just a formality to reaching the larger part of gameplay. Follow the other advice here, get your free set pieces. Your crusader starter set actually suits one of your top builds, so you’ll be good for the season, if you want.
When you’re a fresh level 70, you can’t just jump into Torment XIII and kill your way to loot — you’re wearing mostly yellow gear if you’re lucky and you will explode like a bottle of cola after someone threw in some Mentos and shook it up in a paint mixer if you tried it.
Leveling to 70 is a very minor part of the game, and the overwhelming majority of the game’s content is experienced at lvl 70. Once you hit lvl 70, it then becomes about collecting and perfecting your gear (largely through rifts and greater rifts), as well as obtaining paragon levels to increase your base stats.
At around 12-14 million toughness and 600-800k damage, farming Torment 1 feels pretty safe (even when pulling a double pack). We have 5 people who play together regularly, all with 2-4 level 70’s and so far no deaths. We each only have 1 that we comfortably farm Torment 1 with currently though.
Completing the five acts of the story (main game plus expansion) only takes around 30 hours to beat, but that does not mean the game is over. There are still plenty of things to do. It is not uncommon in ARPGs for the real fun to begin in the endgame content, and Diablo 3 is no exception. Things to Do After Beating the Game in Diablo 3
