Hi Stella, it should still work as long as you have some of the clear part still in the bottle. I think once that part runs out, the pink part will start to dry out. When that happens, you’re probably better off getting a new bottle as the formula may lose its potency. Hope that helps 🙂

According to the instructions, you simply dip a cotton tip through the clear liquid (alcohol) and into the sediment on the bottom (all the zit-fighting ingredients). You can make a DIY version of Drying Lotion. One part rubbing alcohol/one part calamine lotion. Or you can also take a q-tip, dip it in hydrogen peroxide, apply it to the pimple, gently rub until a whitehead forms. At this point, you take the other side of the w-tip and apply some calamine lotion to the zit and call it a day (or night.)
