Why is diablo 3 lagging

There are many players suffering from it in Diablo III and it seems to be a problem with NAT Acceleration routers. Some of routers come with the NAT Acceleration feature as a default ( or maybe you enabled it ), either way this seems to cause problems with Diablo III and cause constant Rubber banding .

There is a very very old DLL file that is used for Audio in Diablo III. This file is over 10 years old, and that’s the latest version. Not the one that the game is using. Try turning off nvidea’s GeForce Experience “Instant replay”. It causes a problem with diablo. It fixed it for me. Used to be called shadowplay. If its turned on it makes my game lagg exactly like that too. Took me forever to figure out. Let me know if this helps!
